At the tender age of 7, Indigo Haynes was the youngest winner of a Guardian newspaper short story competition, judged by Horrid Henry writer Francesca Simon – and she has never looked back!
One of her chief ambitions is to be a writer-illustrator. Her most recent project is a quirky, illustrated guide to secondary school for teens, now finished and looking for a publisher. Watch this space!
When not drawing new pictures, she is usually to be found in her room working on a fictional story, and in fact has already published several ebooks for young readers.
