At the tender age of 7, Indigo Haynes was the youngest winner of a Guardian newspaper short story competition, judged by Horrid Henry writer Francesca Simon – and she has never looked back!
One of her chief ambitions is to be a writer-illustrator. Her most recent project is a quirky, illustrated guide to secondary school for teens, now being uploaded to this site for you to read for free!
When not drawing new pictures, she is usually to be found in her room working on a fictional story, and in fact has already published several ebooks for young readers.
